Appreciating Clients
Increasingly, I am paying attention to the simple fact that clients are all the people who find meaning and value in my work. Working with this group holds the keys to long term stability, growth and success.
Clients are a diverse group who either learn about a company through using products/services, by making a connection online via a website, or other word of mouth and mouse paths. Recognizing client value means maintaining existing and creating new relationships that provide insights into understanding what constituents need. To build such relationships I am trying to answer the following key questions;
- Who are your constituents?
- What do your clients care about?
- What do your clients value? Could they value more?
- Do you have two-way conversations with clients?
- How do you articulate what you do?
Answering these questions presents opportunities to create business relationships based on shared values and expectations. In an effort to find my answers, I invite you to leave your thoughts and comments on this page.
While quantitative research can lead to some insight, this type of research tends to focus on describing the current environment or relationships. Taking a qualitative approach on the other hand lends itself to a more immersive undertaking that studies individuals in their environment. This free evaluation is qualitative; future polls are planned and some of these may be more quantitative in nature.
